The 2017 edition of Sundaram Finance supported Mylapore Festival is to be held from jan 5 to 8. Dance-dramas, folk arts, music & dance, kolam contests, workshops, heritage walks and concerts in the park.

The Fest is run by volunteers every year and this year, the organisers seek volunteers (students / youth / seniors) who can spare time and energies here.

There is a need for volunteers to take charge of the Info Desk and main stage events - 6 to 9.30 pm all four days.

There is also a need for volunteers on week-ends - 5 to 9 pm. And a few for Sunday mornings - to go along different Heritage Walks. Women who enjoy games like pallankuzhi are needed to help on the weekend.
